Redesigning Konga's Mobile Experience

The konga mobile app is the mobile version of Konga’s e-commerce website. I'll be writing about my experience from the perspective of a first time user who's used similar apps and offering possible solutions to the pain points observed. On launching the app, it goes directly to the products screen where I can start Shopping. There is no on boarding flow which feels like a - "nice let's get down to business” approach.  This is a great way to get users to start using their product since they're a popular e-commerce brand and it Saves user's time but an interactive onboarding flow would be useful if employed here.
I selected a laptop to buy and on the products description page, when I select the buy now option l am directed to the log in Screen where I can sign up and provide my delivery address.
After the Sign up process and address selection, I was then directed to the payment Page. I didn't get an option to change the quantity of the item I want even on the payment page. It automatically adds the number of items in my Cart to the Current selection which I think is not a good way to handle checkouts. The only way to Change the order quantity was by going into the carts to change it. Other than that, the process was pretty straight forward.
Comparing with Competitor Products
Aliexpress
The aliexpress mobile app provides an option for users to select their product type and quantity in the item description screen users also have the option to cith add the item to their Cart and keep Shopping or proceed to checkout Immediately. On the order screen the quality of order Can also be changed which is better Compared to Konga's.
Amazon
Amazon app is very close to the AIiexpress app in terms of order selection and cheek out process. Once the user selects a product there is an option to select quantity of the product needed and when the buy now option is selected, it directs the user to the Order Summary page where the user can still change the order quantity.
Changes to improve UX
1. Adding order quantity as well as product options to products description page
2. Make sure product quantity can be changed on the checkout screen
3. Reduce the checkout process number of steps for the checkout process: users do not have to go to the cars to change order quantity it can be done directly on the order confirmation or summary page.
4. Add progress status to the design from order Summary to checkout so users can see their progress.
5. Include an option for client to either add an object to Cart or checkout immediately.
Below is a Wireframe Showing how all these solutions are put together
